Come along to Drawing Club – a fun, approachable opportunity to liberate your creativity through mark-making! Open to everyone; beginners, enthusiasts and artists alike! Each session will have a focus, but by no means is this a class! We encourage getting distracted, making mistakes, collaborating and starting again.
Summon your mystic energy for our Tarot themed Drawing Club. We’ll draw cards from the deck, powerfully manifest and look into the future. Even if you are not a confident drawer the sessions are designed to get you involved from collage materials to experimental drawing prompts. We’ll source inspiration from the amazing variety of artist-designed tarot decks produced over the years and create our own.

Booking in advance is strongly advised as workshops are popular and we have a capacity limit for the session. There will be a very limited number of tickets on the door, which are first-come-first-served. Please note that we do not operate a waiting list.

Step-free entrance to the Old Fire Station: 40 George Street (via the foyer).
Accessible toilet on the ground floor, accessible via platform lift. Other toilets are in the basement (accessible via lift).
Assistance dogs - All types of assistance dogs are welcome at the Old Fire Station.
Seating - Their chairs are a standard dining-chair size, measuring 40cm deep by 37cm wide, with a wooden frame. Some have arms, and some do not. Each attendee can sit at a table during the workshop.
Lighting - Warm and mellow lighting.
Noise levels - There will be music playing and there is often lots of chat across the table, which will likely be the same noise levels as a busy cafe.
Group size - Capacity of the venue if sold-out will be 40 people, however it usually averages about 20-25 people attending.
